Raimonds Mikijanskis, MD – Senior Neuro & Spine Surgeon

A highly acknowledged surgeon, with 10 years experience in Neurosurgery.

The surgeon performs over 180 surgeries annually.

· Minimally invasive spinal surgery (cervical and lumbar disc disease, spinal stenosis)
· Brain and skull base tumours
· Microvascular decompression for neurovascular conflicts
· Cerebrovascular disease (aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations)

In 2008 he graduated from Riga Stradins University – Medical Doctor

In 2014 he graduated from the University of Latvia – Neurosurgeon

In 2014 Dr. Mikijanskis completed the full 4 year cycle of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies training courses  

He studied, gaining his qualifications and experience in Finland (Helsinki University Hospital), Germany (Charité) and USA (Arkansas Neuroscience Institute, Barrow Neurological Institute).
